India thought highly on religion. It was a very big part of their culture. There were about two main popular religions. They were Buddhism and Hinduism. When they are done with the hole ceremony, they say "Ohm Shanti, Shanti, Shanti". Shanti means peace. Then after that they recite many prayers to the gods.
