…era racial segregation occurred before I researched Thurgood Marshall. To learn how evil and cruel white people were back then disgusted me. To understand this helped me in many ways to discover how much effort Thurgood put into ending this period of inequality. In a way, I believe that if Thurgood Marshall had never been born, racial segregation would still exist today. That is why I think Thurgood’s role in history was so important.
