This is another example of how Berlin always kept the story going because he valued being able to imagine a better life. In conclusion, Cacciato was not just another character in a story. Cacciato was not just a figment of Berlin’s imagination. Cacciato was Berlin’s hope. He gave Berlin the moment to imagine a life beyond what he ever expected.
