…realized in doing this research is that people tend to be okay about themselves lying, but once they are lied to the reality of how painful it can be sinks in. I have to wonder if people think about how the person they are lying to feels, and if they do consider that would it prevent the lie from ever occurring? In our culture trust takes a lifetime to gain, and a second to lose.
