Uncommon Clay

Uncommon Clay was devised and directed by Jeanine Thompson. I saw the 8:00 PM at the Thuber Theatre. This play purpose was to relate to others the hardships and ordeals that Camille Claudel had dealt with from her child hood all the way up to her containment in a psychiatric asylum. The background of the changing window changing colors from bright to darkness with Camille’s attitude also was a great message of the plays purpose. This play was a work of genius in conveying one persons struggle another’s. Jeanine Thompson is on the right road to becoming her own Camille Claudel. We just hope she doesn’t get involved with a “Rodin.”
