The Pledge has been recited in public for over 100 years. It has also been changed numerous times. Most notable change was in 1954, which admitted the words “
colleague’s decision, “we will soon find ourselves prohibited from using our album of patriotic songs in many public settings." If this ruling is upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court, our country will go through one of the largest governmental revolutions in history for we will have to re- write many portions of our government that have been the same for years. I believe “under God” must be kept in the Pledge of Allegiance.
