…not have to be their future. Above all, teachers need to be strong leaders that their children can look up to and admire. They are guides for children through the beginning stages of their adulthood. However, these teachers need to learn the skills for teaching children about ethnic diversity, cultural differences, and how to overcome extreme circumstances. Only then can the racial and gender gap be bridged and young minds start influencing changes in perception.
