…to make a preventive “strike against the United States forces in the Far East and occupy natural resource rich areas around the Pacific rim.” It was for the good of the nation and so on December 7, 1941, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. These are the factors that I’ve concluded from reading the article. I think they inevitably caused the nations into wars and that is why the author called the period, the Century of Warfare.
