War on Gender

…the events that had occurred and the continuing news reports that were being broadcasted over the TV’s. What weighed most heavily on my mind was how girls wanted exceptions made to the equality that past generations of females had fought so hard to attain. I thought about how the world as I knew it no longer existed, it was new and different. I would never look at my role as a woman the same.
