War on Iraq

The Bush administration officials are making plans for a major invasion of Iraq that could come as early as this fall. The Bush administration feels that attacking Iraq and overthrowing Saddam Hussein is part of the campaign against terrorism and is needed to prevent Iraq's development of weapons of mass destruction. …from weapons of mass destruction, the United States must use a peaceful approach. First, the United States needs to stop threatening to violently overthrow Saddam Hussein. It will likely provoke Saddam Hussein to respond in a violent manner, and undermine the efforts to reduce terrorism. The best way to address this, is to continue with the United Nations weapons inspections. It has been successful in the past, and will continue to be, if addressed correctly.
