Welfare

There are m any reasons why welfare doesn’t really work, and so solutions have been put forth. Workfare is a proposed solution that some argue is comparable to both U.S. slavery, (i.e. black slaves in American history) and Hitler’s reign. When these accusations were made, it was due to the fact that people who are involved in the workfare program are working for less money than they could get from welfare. …

…the feeling of not wanting to work. In conclusion, I feel that welfare has made many changes to the system, but they need to make more. Helping people who need money is wonderful, but too many people take advantage and there needs to be something to stop this. I don’t feel they should abolish the system, but to improve it somehow so that people wont just apply for welfare benefits because they want to.
