In this essay I will explore Siegfried Sassoon’s attitudes to war. Siegfried Sassoon detested war and so in 1917 started a crusade against fighting. He said ‘I can no longer be a party to prolonging those sufferings for ends which I believe to be evil and unjust.' This sums up his whole feeling that effects his war attitudes.
