Men are starting to examine their own lives and relationships, shown through the increasing number of groups, seminars and conferences focusing on themes such as men’s health, the sexual abuse of men, and psychotherapy …

…the influence of manufacturers on sexuality have not even been mentioned. By this, I mean the way in which sexualities can be manipulated by companies in order to increase profits, the explosion of sex toys onto the market being an example. It is hoped, however, that by including a range of ideas on masculinity I have conveyed the diverse nature of study and thought in this area, even if some areas were not completely thorough.
