An effective leader is an individual who earns the respect of his people, expands to more people who follow his/her rule, and is tolerant of people who do not share the same beliefs as him. Alexander, Asoka, and Jesus all exemplify these qualities and were merited for their advances and accomplishments. An effective leader should know that whatever he does is affective and it affects everyone.
