Who is Gale Gibbs?

My second assignment in English 329 was to gather personal information from a student in class and write a paper about that person. It must have been extremely hard to make it where she is today. She has a great job making good money. She is attending college full-time and seems to have time to garden, travel Florida, and meet the needs of her daughter.
