Why people don’t find it necessary to Vote Why is American voter turnout so low? After some research of the topic and many discussions in previous classes I’m still not sure what the answer is. …highly valued at one time the vote has also declined. There seems to be many positions on the matter a few of which are discussed above, but the fact of the matter remains that it is up to the individual citizen whether they choose to vote or not. If people were more informed I believe the vote would rise the dilemma lies in how to get the word out that each vote makes a difference.
