…best of each culture, we have the opportunity to shape Singapore’s inimitable cultural identity. Hence, I feel that we should do more to attract foreigners to migrate to Singapore. It can only be of more benefit than harm to Singapore’s society and economy. We risk being left behind in the global race for progress and we can only look back in remorse if Singapore does not continue its success. The choice, is ours.
