Enough conflict between two different parties causes a war. The civil war was no different. Brothers fighting each other in a nation they had once shared. People often question the significance of the war, and why one triumphed over the other. …were in poor health. The Union Navy was very strong and able to take towards the Mississippi River and gain strength against the Confederate army. The Confederacy did have some naval ships but were nothing to that of the north.
