Women and Economics

Many both in the past and the present have challenged the treatment of women by society over the past century or so. In Western culture, the placement of women on a lower level than men has been around for as long as can be remembered. Never has the woman been thought of as the “breadwinner” of the family. It took the determination of women in the past just to get women into the workplace. Still …

…in the door of the work force. Women have done that, but now they must take even more. They must understand that they are the only ones that can balance the power in society. This must be done by taking and demanding what is rightfully theirs, not waiting for it to be given back. Women are the ones who need to start the revolution, again. Only complete economic independence can bring true freedom to women.
