World War II’s Entangling Alliances
Before and during the course of World War II, there were many appeasement’s, concessions and alliances that were made between countries in Europe, which put great stress on France and Great Britain. As members of the League of Nations, they were forced to make tedious decisions that were vital to the future of Europe. Unfortunately because of the Great Depression and the effects of World War I, countries such as the United States, France
reached a formal agreement that end the war for good. This shows how foreign agreements between armies and countries brought to the conclusion of World War II. Because of isolationism in Europe and in the U.S. that was brought on by the Depression and foreign agreement, World War II was started. But also because of isolationism and foreign agreement between appeasement’s and alliances brought to the course and conclusion of World War II.
