They are hired because they will work for minimal pay and they are thought to have more skills because of their good eyesight and small hands. On the other hand some employers will not hire children because it is too risky. If they get caught they may have to pay fines and they run the risk of boycotts.(Bachman, ¡§New¡¨ 546).
