…judgments about your family before they really know you. All of these are reasons why the image of the “Ideal American Family” should be disregarded. Family is defined different for everyone. Each person decides for themselves whom they want to be around and who they want their family to be. There is no reason why a person should be compared to such an image. The whole image of the “Ideal American Family” should be eliminated.
