Her use of diction, and imagery were the main ingredients leading to her fierce, stubborn, authoritative and self- reliant tone. This tone was Lysistrata’s most powerful tool in ending the war, bringing the men home, and creating peace. All which was well appreciated by the women of ancient Greece.
