teaching Huckleberry Finn in school

To teach or not to teach? This is the question on many administrators’ minds about The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. For those who read the book without grasping the important concepts that Mark Twain gets across “in between the lines”, many problems arise. But showing us how cruel and small-minded out society can be, and how much racism affected the day. Mark Twains novel is apart of literary history, and should not be regarded as trash of that time, or now!
