They caused many changes in the lives of humans. The Enlightenment emphasized the power of human reason to shape the world. It caused many people to be less honorable towards God than they had been before. They felt that they could think, analyze, and do for themselves and not everything was …

I believe that after these movements, humans realized that they really could think and do things for themselves and others, but that they must always keep a covenant with God, which they were reminded by with the Awakening. If they do well unto others while God has placed them here, why, they should have a rewarding after-life.
