…main reason of this was to rebel against war. The kids became more powerful with the idea of being a leader. People look back at Woodstock and see it as a riot in a way. The hippies didn’t want to get violent so they protested to the public with this concert saying, “We will do what we want to do and you can’t control us any more with making us go into war.”
