In their quest to sell their performance, the selfless agree absent-mindly with the person next to them and pick up their beliefs second-hand. This pattern of selling oneself and temporarily collecting the thoughts of others continues throughout life and although it may work asthetically, the selfless individual with never feel the satisfaction of honestly impacting their audience.
