…values, then the harmful effects of these shows on adults and children need to be recognized. Americans are not becoming more intelligent from watching an episode of " Ricki Lake," nor is the violence rate going to decrease as long as children are watching "Jerry Springer." If we want to see a change in the American way of life we need to start now. We need to start with the abolishment of the television talk show!
