One Writers Beginnings Aurora Welty 1) Aurora Welty wrote a section of her life as a book because she wanted others to learn from her experiences. She made a lot of very important accomplishments. She graduated after four years of college , and completed her lifetime goal: to become a writer. Her first book, "Lilly Dow and the three ladies" was published in the winter of 1937. …and ended up being one of the most respected and astonishing writers of short fiction. She set her goals and accomplished them. She let nothing stand in the way of her success. I see a lot of myself in Aurora. We both love to write, and listen for stories.
