There is a song with the lyrics, "the years go by as softly as a _____." To those of us who have the most to learn, the years go by long and hard. The middle-age years where the fruits of the good life are enjoyed and consolidated fail to transpire. Life exists as if we're wearing dark glasses and bearing heavy loads on our spirits. In planning, the question comes up, "How?" The answer sometimes helps …

…a rotten future until you have done all that you can do. Ask God to help you help yourself as you promise to help God to find a better earth left behind. With all these things in place, you will find you need less hope because so many of those good things are better than hope- they are a dream come true. They are the reality of your efforts and the realization of your future.
