Making Judgements

the article titled, On Making Judgements, the author discusses how recently people are making the choice not to judge, when in some cases "judging" may be necessary. The author wants the reader to believe that judging, in some cases, should be taken into consideration and is also necessary to take action that requires you to judge an act. He brings up a recent case where the outcome of "not judging" turned out to be murder. …

…beings in our society. One of these people that did so was Martin Luther King Jr. His decision to confront segregation was probably one of the best "judgments" of all times. In closing, the author states if no one rises to judge the injustices around us we will no longer see people completing acts of heroism but we will see more people becoming like the teenager that was charged with being an accessory to murder.
