…she will never be able to replace Nettie. Despite all their differences Nettie and Celie had a relationship that was probably more loving than normal relationships between sisters. I am really impressed with their strength to carry on throughout the book. Celie and Nettie are both very courageous women that are blessed to have each other to depend on. I think they gave each other the strength and a reason to go on every day.
