Education Reforms One of the major problems facing Iowa today is the dismal state of the public and private schools. Many of the schools are in need of money for new technology and other equipment, building repair, and proper staff, to name a few. …Iowa colleges. Both house and senate agreed that Iowa schools should heavily encourage students to go to a local university or college. All these ideas of these important and influential men could help Iowa have one of the highest levels for education in the entire US.
