The failure of policy of appeasement can serve to teach a lesson that today is as valid as ever - it is better for the community of the civilized nations to unite in opposition to potentially dangerous non-democratic regimes and resolutely deal with them as early as possible, so to avoid a potentially much worse problems in the future.
