I was born as the property of a plantation owner at 1820 in Maryland. In my youth I was hit much by my masters while I did the housework for them. At the age of 13 I started working on the farm. …The situation between the North and the South became more and more difficult so the Civil War broke out in 1861. I became a general and fought for the North. The North won the war and alavery was forbidden all over the USA. Now the ex-slaves were free but of yourse very poor. I spent almost all my money on helping slaves, later I got 20$ from the government. I died on March 13, 1913 ate the age of 93.
