…so many would not admit to being a witch, making it obvious that something was not right. As one can see the power of superstition and the gossip can distort the truth, starting outrageous escalations. The Salem witch trials were horrifying and it changed many peoples lives, by this perverse society, court, and its accusations. It ended with the dead of many and a unfavorable civilized impression.
