…Robert Kennedy. Kennedy who had a great chance to win was killed after a speech. In the same year Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Tennessee. Both of these deaths greatly changed the outcome of following years. In 1969, Woodstock, an all musical event, took place and was a major gathering for hippies everywhere. It was also the year of the moon landing. The landing was a good ending to the most remembered decade ever.
