The entire novel is a flashback of the events that had led up to his emotional destruction. The flashback begins with Holden leaving the boarding school he had been attending because of bad grades. …parents. This is where are Journey in the life of Holden Caufield concludes. Many views of life are expressed in this novel and has helped me to even form my views on some things. This one reason that I love this book. In addition, some of the things Holden goes through are things we all have to deal with. I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone who needs a good book to read.
