The world is mainly made up of two opposing forces: evilness and goodness. …evil is temporary, which is caused maybe by distrust and prejudice in the story "Young Goodman Brown". The short-lived evilness of human nature is quickly overcome by one's goodness at heart. Evilness and goodness are two opposite forces, yet what is more important is tha goodness is a gate that keeps people away from evil. Theoretically, people are born to good, but the inevitable interaction with in a complicated society always leads people into evilness.
