The Prince Niccolo Machiavelli's The Prince examines the nature of power and his views of power which are still somewhat in existence today. …were still succesful. They chose to be feared rather than adored. By this, they were able to command respect from everyone who served. They installed such fear in their followers, that noone attempted to question ideas, or overthrow them.
