The Hunt . Being much of a tomboy growing up on our farm in Door County my father figured that I was probably the only thing close to a son that he might ever have. …hurt me by sending his young daughter into the scary woods without a worry. Since then I have become less and less of a tomboy. Maybe it is just growing up or maybe it is a conscious effort to be who I want to be and not what my father wants me to be.
