Intergration into social life and Suicide "An Emile Durkheim View Piont"

This paper will try to put explanation to the thesis of Emile Durkheim 'that one is less likely to commit suicide the more one is drawn into or integrated within social life'. …clearly seen that social integration does and will continue to play a traumatic role, in the aspect of suicide. Durkheim's thesis of suicide was a brilliant piece of sociology thought 'his analysis of suicide sought to show that the level of an individual's social integration was a key casual factor in the rate of suicide' (Jureidini, & Poole, 1997, 38). Therefore, one is less likely to commit suicide the more one is drawn into social life.
