The twenty-fifth amendment may seem like a waste of space to some, but it provides a valuable safeguard if the President or any of our other of our main officials resign, become disabled by illness, pass away, get assassinated -- whatever. Just think of the twenty-fifth amendment as an insurance policy that protects our rights if something were to happen to one of our chief executives.
