A Brief Overview of the Susan Smith Court Case

On the night of October 25, 1994 Susan Smith took the lives of her two sons. Susan Smith committed the most unthinkable act when she broke humanity's most sacred trust, the love of a mother for her children (Crime Library). The popular opinion was that Susan Smith was a cold-blooded murderer who killed her children in the hope of reclaiming her lover would decide whether she would die in the electric chair or receive a life in prison sentence. She was sentenced to life in prison but is up for parole in 2025.
