A strange party

Last night, I dreamt I was at a party. As I went into the room everyone's eyes turned towards me. I could feel myself going red with embarrassement. Some of the women gave me really black looks, as if I'd seriously offended them. I got a drink and looked for someone to talk to. Everyone had their backs towards me, then, quite out of the blue, my grandfather walked into the room and came over …

…I've had enough of this," I screamed angrily. Again everyone looked at me. "This is my party and if you can't be nicer to me, you can all leave now!" I woke up feeling anxious. The phone was ringing. It was my grandfather. That was strange enough because he only rings me once in a blue moon, but what he said was even stranger: "I'm having a party next Friday," he said. "Can you come?"
