…to these cycle of injustice and disadvantage. In all, the report provided 339 recommendations as to improve the condition of the Aboriginal people. More than a decade later, it is important to witness how much of those recommendations have been implemented, and whether the statistics have turned favourably. Results reveal that deaths and incarceration levels are higher than the decade prior to the report, and also Aboriginal people still remain the most disadvantaged and impoverished class.
