From the articles I have read, I believe the soldiers were not given direct orders to abuse the prisoners and the soldiers tortured the prisoners because they felt like they were almighty and invincible. I did not support George W. Bush into going into Iraq, and I feel the faster he pulls out his soldier, the quicker things are going to settle.
