…then affirmative action defies all of these statutes. Before such policies were even introduced, President John F. Kennedy issued an executive order declaring that the federal government should "take affirmative action" to ensure fair treatment of employees and job applicants, regardless of their race, religion, color, sex, or national origin. How can it be morally justified that treatment of people with regard to race, or ethnicity is wrong, regardless of the intent for policies introduced?
