Louis Pasteur, a well known scientist during the mid 1800’s revealed to the world a new formula or chemical known as alcohol. …becomes an addiction: 1.first, all the veins that drain the stomach and intestines come together and empty the blood into the liver 2.secondly, the blood containing alcohol enters the systematic circulation through the heart 3. lastly, the liver metabolizes about 90 percent of the alcohol absorbed onto the body, 5 percent is inhaled through the lungs and only 5 percent is excreted through the liver.
