Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell was a man of great importance. He was a scottish-born inventor and educator, best known for his invention of the telephone. He invented not just the telephone but he organized and took part in inventing other things. He worked with many great people. Alexander Bell became a citizen of the United States in 1882. He spent most of his later life at his estate on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. He worked in his laboratory or sat at his piano playing old scottish tunes. Bell died August 2, 1922, at his home in Nova Scotia.
